Giants take on the mighty Reds!!!!
On a cold and windy evening the Giants travelled to Liverpool FC Academy to pitch themselves against the best the Merseyside club had to offer. It was a great experience for all the players, who following a nervous opening period grew in strength and confidence. At stages towards the end of the night the Giants had Liverpool penned back in their own half producing some excellent pass and move football. Watched by the Liverpool FC scouts I was told at the end of the night that we had given as good a display as they had seen by any local club, and the promise was made that we would arrange a re-match in the not too distant future!!!!
Ladybridge Giants Pre Season
In an exciting pre season the GIANTS travelled the North West in search of victory and the opportunity to play against the best opposition out there.
Good fun was had by all with some very good football being played.
The weather wasn't always the greatest but every game was approached with the same enthusiasm, determination and belief.
The boys were rewarded with some very good results and picked up some impressive silverware along the way
