Giants to follow the Mersey Way (again)

Travel arrangements for the Liverpool FC session on Friday 28th March are confirmed as follows.

The session is scheduled to take place between 15.30 and 17.00, with teams to arrive no later than 15.00. The format has been set as follows. First 45 minutes will be a coaching session by the Liverpool FC Academy coaches working on individual technical ability. The second 45 minutes will be game time with each of the 4 invited teams playing each other in a mini tournament. The sessions are scheduled to take place on the outdoor astro turf surface but could be switched to the indoor facility in the event of bad weather.

All players are asked to attend in their Ladybridge kit and training jacket and are asked to bring both boots and trainers, shinpads and a drink.

Travel arrangements have been set as follows;

Those travelling in convoy are asked to meet at Chequers Restaurant on Chequerbent roundabout, Westhoughton. We will be leaving this location no later than 14.15. We will then travel as before down Atherleigh Way onto the East Lancs towards Liverpool. The estimated travel time is 40 minutes.

For those that intend going straight to the academy could they please arrive at 15.00.
